Organization Mission

WPCS is a charitable non-profit organization with a mission to improve access to trauma-informed, culturally-safe, longitudinal primary health care for all members of our community. Our purposes include creating community dialogue around primary care, advocating with other non-profits and government entities for enhanced access to care, providing enhanced patient-level services not covered by MSP, supporting struggling primary care clinicians to stay in practice and finally society-operated primary care spaces.
Our board of directors is comprised of community leaders and primary care clinicians. Our organization is in its inception, but we are already making gains. If you would like to get involved and work with us, please do not hesitate to reach out.

Project Summary

To host a community consultation forum for residents of Westshore of the GVA. Target audiences shall include marginalized demographics including refugees, English as a second language, Indigenous communities as well as community members with complex needs. The community consultation will be a blended event whereby participants will appear in person or o line. The consultation questions will also be posed in survey format and gathered electronically, or via hardcopy from physician offices. The project manager will have the administrative and professional support of the board Secretary and board President to execute tasks.

Project Objectives
