Workshops

GET YOUR NONPROFIT OR CHARITY ON THE RIGHT TRACK WITH PMV’S INTRODUCTION TO PROJECT MANAGEMENT WORKSHOP.

Throughout the year we offer both public and private workshops for leaders and staff of nonprofit organizations. While project management as a discipline focuses on business and government (engineering, architecture, IT, healthcare etc.), we will introduce participants to project management approaches, concepts and tools that apply directly to a nonprofit environment.

Public workshops are posted on this website and registration is online. We also work with larger nonprofits to deliver private workshops for their staff.

Due to COVID-19 in-person workshops are cancelled, we are in the process of shifting to an online format

Testimonial 3 – Workshops

“A group of our staff did this workshop last year and found it very helpful. It’s also good to work with one of their project management volunteers to guide you as you work through a particular project as you test out your new skills in project management.”

Jennifer Gray-Grant
Executive Director, Collingwood Neighbourhood House

Testimonial 2 – Workshops

“Thanks to the training provided by PMV, we have a common understanding and language around Project Management. Our staff approach and apply the lessons learnt to projects ranging from the coordination of small events to the development of proposals for funding, and the implementation of large-scale projects. We turn to PMV for their ideas and recommendations for best practices in Project Management. Their deep knowledge, professionalism and real-life recommendations are an invaluable resource for MOSAIC.”

Shirin Karmali Manager
Systems & Client Services, MOSAIC Employment Programs
